It’s fashionable. And most importantly it’s a way for stylists to show their appreciation for their clients.
Yes, it’s International Client Appreciation day and it’s being celebrated tomorrow March 15th at the 57th Street Dramatics NYC location at 352 west 57th st btw 8th & 9th Aves 212-586-1035.
The theme has influences from around the world. Stylists from the salon will be serving appetizers from their respective countries as well as offering 10 % off haircuts. Plus there will be a raffle for a gift basket containing a blow dryer and hair care products!
What are the origins of International Client Appreciation Day? It was created as a time for hair stylists to let those who sit in their chairs know how much they enjoy helping them look and feel their best. Cut, color and style is a very personal art form because to achieve the best possible results a stylist must truly understand the specific lifestyle needs of the look of his or her client.
It is also an opportunity for an exchange of ideas and for the stylist him or her self to bring what is unique about him or her to the table. And International Client Appreciation Day is just that – a chance for stylists to share a little bit about what is unique about him or her – including his or her heritage.
And the group at the 57th Street Salon have backgrounds that are quite global. Each stylist has some particular tie to a country somewhere in the world. Each stylist will be bringing appetizers for the day from his or her country. These include Asia bringing Kurma (a kind of cookie) from Trinidad, Genesis providing Honduras Tacos and Shine sharing Panettones from Italy.
So don’t miss this event with style and global flavors!
