Dramatics NYC Academy is finally starting up again in full capacity!
After 40 years of training over 5000 top stylists, the academy paused in 2020 —
but now we’re relaunching with a powerful new vision for the next generation of professionals.
The Dramatics NYC Hair Academy is a post-graduate/continuing-education workshop program that offers courses for up-and-coming stylists trying to hone their skills as they begin their professional careers, as well as established hairdressers who are looking to enhance their techniques to offer their clientele the latest in color and cutting trends.

The workshop classes are held in a live working professional hair salon environment. All hairdressing services are carried out by licensed cosmetologists under the tutelage and constant supervision of qualified educators.

ACADEMY EDUCATORS
TOPAZ
Topaz is the scientist/artist of The Healthy Color and its creation of color. She continually innovates and develops safe, effective and high-quality hair color products. She is a Master Colorist with over 20 years of experience and the head of color education at Dramatics NYC Academy. Known for her expertise in color chemistry and creative techniques like balayage and fantasy color, she mentors stylists through hands-on training and theory.
YONI
Yoni Kreger is a master stylist and educator known for his precision haircutting and creative technique. As the founder of YK Salon and the YK Hair Academy, he has trained a new generation of stylists with a focus on strong fundamentals and personalized client consultation. Yoni’s approach blends technical expertise with artistic vision, helping stylists build lasting, successful careers. He is passionate about education that empowers stylists to find their voice, refine their craft, and grow with confidence.
FAME
With over two decades of experience behind the chair, Fame offers not only expertise, but a true passion for sharing the knowledge of her craft. She has been an Educator for Dramatics NYC Academy for the past ten years. With a deep love for the art of hair and a commitment to empowering others, Fame see’s everyday as an opportunity to grow. Focusing on building confidence, client connection, body awareness, skills and problem solving, Fame centers on teaching her students how to work smarter not harder.
